A fully qualified applicant is someone who satisfies all the fundamental criteria set by the college for admission.

Refers to an applicant who possesses at least four (4) of the required subjects needed to fully matriculate into a St. Joseph’s Teachers’ College programme.

refers to candidates over the age of 30 years seeking admission into the college and who do not have the academic qualifications set out in the fully qualified and Qualifying categories of admission highlighted above.

Application Process Application Process

St. Joseph’s Teachers’ College does not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, creed/religion, or nationality. When applying for admission applicants must submit the following documents:

A completed application form

1. With a current photo ID
2. ID must have a signing date not extending 6
months beyond the date of the application
3. An application fee (non-refundable)

* Grades 1& 2 in Mathematics is accepted for the B.Ed. Primary Education programme

* Grades 1, 2 & 3 in Mathematics is accepted for the B.Ed. Early Childhood Education programme

* Candidates seeking entry into the Early Childhood programme may also use the NCTVET level II qualification in Early Childhood as one of the 5 subjects required for matriculation

• ENGLISH LANGUAGE
• MATHEMATICS
• A SCIENCE SUBJECT (Human and Social Biology, Biology, Chemistry, Integrated Science, Physics, Food and Nutrition, or any other science subject in this category)
• A SOCIAL SCIENCE SUBJECT (Social Studies, History, Religious Studies, Geography, English Literature, Spanish, French or any other social science subject)
